As a teacher who taught kindergarten up to the secondary level, real estate was not initially on my radar. I also was the owner and director of a day care out of my home. After nearly 11 years of working with children, I made the decision to change careers to real estate. I was ready to make some changes of my own so I could work on my own terms. This change I did not take lightly, however, since teaching was what I always wanted to do with my life.


My husband got into real estate one year prior and I followed him down this path. If I wasn’t going to help children, I still wanted to help people in a way that would have a big impact. Our brokerage business, Executive Properties, became a different kind of schooling for people who depended on us daily.


My passion for real estate became more of a reality when I earned the Sacramento Magazine’s Top Real Estate Agent award, as well as the Five Star Professional Real Estate Award. I was also named a Masters Club Member, which put me in the top percentage of real estate agents in Placer County. I have been blessed with considerable success during my career as a real estate professional and I credit this in part to my belief that when it comes to my clients, I am their real estate agent for life. I do not view our relationship as transactional. I am proud to say that a continued relationship is often the result of working with me, and my clients send new potential clients my way. 

I have an image for potential new clients that I always share with them at the start of working together: pictures of two heads that say “yes” and “no.” We all have mutual permission to say “yes” or “no” to what is presented. I make sure that clients understand that I will not hold them to a contract if they are not happy with it. It is important that we both feel comfortable working with each other and share the same goals. If a transaction is not in the best interest of my client, I will tell them so and steer them in the right direction. I aim to keep my clients as updated as much as possible and educate them through every step of the way.
